Fluff Gallery

OH MY! With two little ones, I just don't find time to sew anymore. :( Really, God has said that this will continue in another season, so I am happy to wait for when that time arrives. For now, I'll just leave this space up and remember all the good times I had with my sewing machines. *Single tear falls*

Cassidy's cloth wipes sets
One side is flannel, the other is corduroy
(for easy poo cleanup).

Receiving blankets, burp rags and travel cloth wipes

Roman shade with blackout lining using mini-blinds (left)
Pulled up (right) - I have 2 of 4 complete.
This project has taken me forever, but I can't find anything I like better to buy.

I made this blanket and pillow case for a friend.
The minky and satin combo felt soooo good...
It felt so good that...I made one for Cassidy.

A gift I made up for another friend's
baby girl shower (this is from a long time ago,
but I really enjoyed putting it together).
The gift was made up of a trash can (for a diaper pail),
pail liner, cloth diaper detergent, wipes set, fitted diaper,
and embellished burp rag set

These are the fitteds and covers I made for "baby girl"
stash that were eventually gifted to me for Cassidy.

This is one of the fitteds inside the matching cover.
Doesn't it fit together so well?

My diaper pail wetbag:

I made it to fit into a standard trash can,
which is what I use for my diaper pail.
Check out my french seam!
See? No exposed serger threads!
It seems so fancy
(and it's so easy...shh!)

A "presente" for some family friends in Brazil:

An "American" newborn gown for friends expecting their first baby
and a crayon roll for Samuel, who's almost the same age as our own Samweli.

Here's a pic of the crayon roll with all the crayons in it. I really like these!

I'm so excited because I finally have things to share in my Fluff Gallery

A friend was doing a dalmation theme for her new baby boys, so I upcycled a 101 Dalmations bed sheet I had on hand into a couple fun little projects:
They didn't have much space so I made a hanging laundry bag.
I'm sure someone has made this up before, but I really did think of it on
my own, and I made a pattern from scratch! Yay for my sewing skills!

I cut three squares from foam board from the Dollar Tree and stapled these
fabric cutouts onto them for quick wall decorations for above the boys' crib.

My most recent project:
Upcycled Newborn Gown (complete with hand flaps).
Awww...it's so precious. I think these would make perfect gifts
for a soon-to-be daddy if you used one of his favorite, old t-shirts.
Anyone know any Tidehaven Tigers that would love to put
this on their newborn?

I have a few other sewing projects that I just finished, but they're gifts so I don't want to spoil the surprise! Thanks for checking out all my Fluff Stuff!
